Nokia releases updated version of Lifeblog
Nokia has announced the availability of the latest version of their Lifeblog software. Mobile bloggers can now use this application to automatically attach location, time, and relevant calendar information to photos, videos, and audio clips. This application would allow Nokia phone owners to attach audio clips to their blogs.
The application comes in two parts. One part is loaded on the mobile phone while the other is to be loaded on a personal computer to interact with the mobile phone. Users can take photos, shoot videos, record sounds on their Nokia N-series phones and these can then be wirelessly uploaded from their phones to an online Blog.
However, the company currently supports only those Blog powered by Six Apart technology. Lifeblog 2.0 for PC is available for download right now from the Nokia’s website and the mobile code would be made available pretty soon.
Nokia launched the first version of this mobile Blogging tool way back in 2004. The competition is now increasing with Sony announcing their decision to include Google tools to enable people to Blog on Blogger.com based blogs.
