MSI showcases solar powered laptop and MP3 player
MSI is a tech company, which is mainly known for their motherboards and graphics cards. However, the company has just shown their technical capabilities by displaying a range of products, which might represent how we would be using our laptops and digital music players in the future.
Battery life has always been a problem for users of portable computers and digital music players. MSI is displaying some prototype products at the CeBIT trade show, which uses the solar energy to charge the batteries running the devices.
MSI displayed a laptop and an mp3 player, which uses solar energy as their source of energy. However, the cost of this implementation is so high that the company has no plans to release the product commercially in the near future.
MSI claims that this is just a technical display of how these electronic devices can be powered in the future and they would continue to work on improving the aspects of this technology.
