Google testing Related Content facility
Search engine giants Google seems to be test developing a small applet for their fans to add a small box on their web pages to show related content retrieved from their search engine indexes.
This service would allow users to put a small JavaScript code in their pages, which would automatically display relevant content related to the page’s content. Some websites are already testing this and the box shows tabs for related ‘searches’ and ‘web pages’.
However, this section is unlikely to amuse a lot of people considering the potential of earning revenues from this service is low. Their might be an added tab for related ads, we should know more details as this service is made official.
We had really like Google to develop a related content from Blogs for bloggers around the world, which show cases Blog posts from around the world using the Google Blog Search index.
Check this blog post for a working demo.
