Microsoft testing advertisements on its Live services
Software giant Microsoft is currently involved in a lot of online services. They are working hard on an online advertisement service to take on Google AdSense and are also developing a couple of Live services to expand their offerings in this segment, which has seen a massive growth in the last couple of years.
The company has now confirmed that they have begun testing advertisements across two of its Live-branded Internet services in addition to the MSN Spaces Blogging facility. They are showcasing advertisers from as many as 20 countries including some big names like Coca-Cola Brazil, JCPenney Co. Inc. and Monster Worldwide Inc.
These advertisements have been placed on various MSN Services like Microsoft Office Live, Windows Live Mail, and MSN Spaces. Two of these services are currently in beta stage and it is not expected to amuse the testers that the company is displaying ads on these services.
These advertisement tests are expected to continue for a couple of months and the advertiser’s base is expected to soon grow to cover more regions and countries.
