PN-655: Sharp showcases 65-inch LCD Monitor
Electronics Company Sharp has announced that they have developed the world’s largest professional LCD monitor. The company has manufactured a 65-inch model of a LCD monitor, which they soon plan to launch in the retail market.
The company has however not yet revealed the target price for this humongous monster of a screen. However, they have said that the monitor features 1920 x 1080, two megapixel high-definition resolution.
Not many details are available right now but Sharp plans to provide this product with a range of connectors, including DVI inputs. They have incorporated their Dual-Fine Engine technology to enable the screen to show off PC as well as video content.
It also incorporates a four-wavelength spectrum, cold-cathode fluorescent backlight that provides an enhanced color spectrum including deeper, more vibrant and vivid reds as per a statement released by the company.
The viewing angle of Sharp PN-655 is claimed to be an impressive 170 degrees.
