Windows Vista delay good news for Apple Computers?
Microsoft has finally accepted that they would have to delay the launch of the consumer versions of Windows Vista until early 2007. This means that the PC manufacturers would be unable to ship computers preloaded with this latest version of Vista during the holiday season in the United States.
This would probably benefit Apple Computers more than anyone considering they are increasingly becoming crowd favorites with their new range of Intel powered Mac products. And holiday season should see them selling huge number of Mac computers along with the already awesomely successful iPod range of digital music player.
However, Microsoft is not going to suffer much after all. They have the corporate users who would have to wait for Vista operating system and even if Apple manages to take away bulk of new computer sales during the holiday season, they would still continue to power more than 90% of the world’s desktops anyways.
Nevertheless, it is great news for Apple Computers and Steve Jobs to make the most out of this opportunity.
