Mahindra & Mahindra launches updated Scorpio
Mahindra & Mahindra is the market leaders in the Indian utility vehicle segment and the company has just launched the brand new Scorpio in the Indian market. The company claims that this new updated version brings 43 new features including a brand new suspension.
Mahindra believes that this new Scorpio would give the customer a more enriching experience. The new Scorpio becomes the most powerful set of wheels in its class and is closing in on becoming an excellent product with new technologies and more comprehensive feature lists. The company believes that this updated model would help it retain the lead in the Indian automotive market in the Utility Vehicle segment.
Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Vice-President-Sales & Marketing, Automotive Sector, M&M Ltd said in a statement on this updated model of Scorpio: “The new Scorpio is a car that the customer built. While the new multi-zonal suspension gives the car unmatched ride comfort and handling, the macho front styling, the vertical tail lamps and the eye-catching air dams are just a few examples of the New Scorpio’s style statement.”
For now, the updated Scorpio is available at the same price as the older variant. Impressively, the car is now equipped with a five-zone rear suspension fine-tuned by Lotus Engineering. Tubeless tires are now standard across all editions of the car. The higher end model is equipped with a hi-tech CD/MP3 player complete with a USB port and SD card port enabling the owners to use pen drive or an SD card loaded with digital music.
