Apple enables maximum volume level on Apple iPod
Market reports had recently claimed that researchers had warned about the potential damages to hearing loss due to excessive usage of digital music players at high volumes. This report was particularly targeted at the very popular Apple iPod digital music player, which is the market leader in its segment.
Apple Computers have now responded by releasing a software update, which would enable parents to set the maximum volume level on their kid’s iPod and lock it with a code so that it cannot be tempered with.
This should bring some relief to the user community who were afraid of the long-term damages caused by too much usage of the Apple iPod digital music player. This software update is free and is available for download from the Apple Computers website.
