World’s largest maker of mobile phones Nokia is continuing its assault in the North American market where they trail the market leaders Motorola. The company launched four new mobile phones in this market and one of them is directly aimed at the very popular Moto Razr mobile phone.

Three of these new phones are based on CDMA technology while the slim one is a GSM/EDGE phone with a camera and music player. Nokia 6126 is a foldable GSM/EDGE handset, which comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera and a digital music player. It has enough storage capacity to store as many as 1000 songs.

The other three phones support the CDMA technology, which is very popular in the American market. One of these three new models is the 2365i folding handset, which is priced at the budget segment of the mobile consumer base.

The second one is the Nokia 2865i monoblock phone with an FM radio. The last one is the Nokia 6175i which is a mid-price folding phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera and GPS receiver. Nokia would be launching these new phones during the second half of this year.

The company added that all of these phones are Bluetooth capable though the pricing details were not revealed.
