Harley-Davidson enters China with an Authorized Showroom

U.S. based legendary motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson Inc. has confirmed that they are entering the growing china market and have established their first authorized showroom in the country.

The company is hoping that they would find a lot of customers amongst the growing number of wealthy Chinese. However, they are also aware of the ownership curbs on motorbikes in most Chinese cities, which could result in disappointing sales in the initial days.

David Foley, company representative of Harley Davidson’s China operations said in a statement: “We’re taking a long-term market perspective with China. We’re going to be focusing on developing our brand here and continuing to develop the distribution and the dealer network.”

This company’s dealership would be offering a variety of Harley Davidson models in the country. Interested owners would also be offered training. Harley Davidson also plans to organize certain events to attract more customers to their showrooms.
