BlogBurst to bring Blogging content to mainstream newspapers
BlogBurst is a new syndication service being launched by Blog technology company Pluck Corp. They would be delivering commentary from 600 bloggers for use in mainstream newspapers. It would be launched tomorrow and brings a new dimension to the world of Blogging, as it is getting more and more recognized around the world.
BlogBurst would include headlines and articles for use by newspaper publishers in the news or feature sections of their online services. The interesting part is that these newspapers are also going to use them in their print editions.
The company has already gone into an agreement with Gannett, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Austin American-Statesman and San Antonio Express for content syndication services. The long-term goal is to provide BlogBurst editorial materials to niche business and overseas publications.
These newspaper companies are looking for content for channels like travel, women’s issues, technology, food, entertainment and local stories where they cannot have a dedicate staff working full time. Bloggers provide a great media to get relevant content for their newspapers and online editions.
