Hybrid Technologies brings LiX-75 for people who care for the nature
Las Vegas-based Hybrid Technologies has said that they would soon be launching their LiX-75 model at the New York Auto Show on Apr. 14. This sleek car runs off electric batteries and would cost a massive $125,000. The car gets further boost from power collected through the solar panels on the trunk.
The company added that the car would recharge in four to six hours from a regular three-prong electric socket. More importantly, they claim that this car will go from zero to 60 miles per hour in three seconds and has a top speed of 200 miles per hour!
Richard Griffiths, head of business development at Hybrid said about this upcoming product: “It’s the environmentalist mid-life crisis vehicle. It’s a sports car that performs like a Porsche Boxster, looks like a Ferrari, and has zero emissions.”

LiX-75 uses lithium ion batteries as they store more energy and degrade less quickly when not in use. The company is also working on developing electric-powered versions of PT Cruisers, Chrysler Crossfires, and Mini Coopers for customers such as N.A.S.A., the British government and the state of California.

Something is missing here. If it does 200 mph and 0-60 in 3 seconds, how far can it go on a recharge? Especially at 200mph? And how long does it take to recharge it from the “standard 3-prong plug”? And how much power (KW) is being supplied that that “standard 3-prong plug”? This car isn’t credible - I suspect it is pure vaporware.
