Paramount Airways targets Bangalore, Hyderabad
Paramount Airways has said that they would be increasing its daily operations to 20. This would include two daily services from Chennai to Bangalore and Hyderabad. These new flights would begin this coming April 19.
Paramount Airways would also be setting up its maintenance base in the Chennai airport. The Airports Authority of India is providing the company an area of 10,000 square meter area.
The airline company would also be launching air links between Hyderabad and Kochi from April 19.
Paramount Airlines Managing Director M. Thiagarajan said in a statement while addressing the media personals that the maintenance base would cost around $40 million. It would add on to their hanger located at the Peelamedu airport in Coimbatore.
He added: “We are waiting for the clearance from the regulatory agencies, and once the process is through, the maintenance base will come up in the Chennai airportâ€.
