CNET Networks launches CNET TV
One of the most popular online media networks CNet Networks has announced the launch its own video-on-demand service named CNet TV.
This service would be packaging their video content for distribution on both television networks and online services.
The company manages popular online information portals like Cnet.com, News.com, MP3.com, and Download.com. This new service CNet TV is being launched in partnerships with Cox Communications Inc., TiVo Inc., and TVN Entertainment.
Some of the video franchise linked with this service are Insider Secrets, Weekend Project, and First Look from the Labs. The company would also be broadcasting special news reports, coverage of special events. User submitted videos might also be added in the coming times.
The aim is to keep the consumer up-to-date with the latest happenings in the tech world through this extended medium.
