Next generation high definition titles in stores now!
The new era has begun. The first HD-DVD titles are slated to go on sale today and impressively, Toshiba players have also arrived at Best Buy stores. Toshiba HD DVD players should now be on sale on some of the stores of this retail giant.
News sources claims that the Toshiba HD DVD players were shipped on Sunday and are expected to go on sale on Best Buy, Sears, Wal-Mart, Costco and Tweeters locations by week’s end.
These stores would also be carrying the content for these high definition media players. Universal Studios Home Entertainment is making available HD DVDs of their recently launched “Serenity” and Warner Home Video would be launching “The Last Samurai” and “The Phantom of the Opera.”
Just around 10,000 units of these video players and HD DVDs are being shipped as the companies prepare for a full assault in the market in the coming days.
