The Da Vinci Code Quest on Google: Sony and Google promotes “The Da Vinci Code”
Search engine giants Google are collaborating with movie studios Sony Pictures to promote their upcoming movie, “The Da Vinci Code”. The two companies have launched an online promotion inviting web users to participate and solve complex puzzles.
This content would feature daily puzzles until the week before the debut of the movie. This promo is being called “The Da Vinci Code Quest on Google†and would feature six different challenges at four difficulty levels.
There are prizes for the winners as people who manage to reach the “Final Challenge” will be eligible for a two-week, first-class, trip to New York, Paris, Rome, and London. This prize includes hotel and ground transportation. There are other prizes on stake including Sony high-definition TV, Sony Vaio notebook, and Sony digital camera.
Google has created as many as 12,358 original puzzles as part of the promotion with help from Sony. The content is open to users in UK, UK, and Australia and requires the user to have a Google Account.
