Yahoo! launches Yahoo Tech section
Search engine giants Yahoo! have launched a new section aimed at helping consumers with latest in technologies, which are shaping the modern life with new developments coming in on a day-to-day basis.
They call this new service Yahoo! Tech and the company expects that this would enable them to grab a larger pie of the online advertisement market.
Yahoo! has divided this new section on their website into 19 different categories, which are devoted to different tech subjects. These range from notebooks to mobiles to digital cameras to HD televisions.
The company would help the web users know more about these new technologies in a down-to-earth way. This would help the non-techie people to understand these new devices and technologies, which are now becoming a part of day-to-day life.
Yahoo! is offering advices from four high-tech advisers to share their insights with daily updates. These advisors would cater to four different segments of web users: “The Momâ€, “The Working Guy,” “Techie Diva” and “The Boomerâ€.
