Nokia E61: Nokia ships their RIM Blackberry challenger
World’s largest maker of mobile phones, Nokia has finally began shipping their Nokia E61 business mobile phone with a full keyboard which would take Research in Motion’s Blackberry heads on in the market.
Pekka Isosomppi, spokesman for Nokia’s Enterprise division said in a statement on this launch: “First deliveries started late last week. It’s gradually becoming available across the globe.â€
Nokia is also due to start shipping an expensive version Nokia E70 model something later this month. They have already launched the first E-series phone, the E60 in the market sometime back.

These three models from the company are targeted at the corporate users who want to stay connected with their company’s intranet and check their email on the move. This market is largely dominated by RIM Blackberry at the moment and provides a huge opportunity for Nokia in the coming years.
