Apple target PC users with new Mac Video Ads
The marketing bunch working at Apple Computers sure are some of the most creative people working in the IT industry. The company has released a series of video ads, which makes fun of the various problems associated with the PC and compares them to the usability and safety provided by Mac.
They do not exactly blame Microsoft’s Windows OS for all the problems highlighted in these videos but the message being passed to the consumer is pretty clear… Mac is superior to PCs.
These video ads highlight factors like Mac is better at networking, avoiding viruses and crashes, and running so-called lifestyle applications like watching and editing video. You just cannot avoid smiling while watching these advertisements, which are also available online.
Market analyst Michael Gartenberg wrote in a Blog post on these ads from the company: “The new ad campaign clearly captures this with the depiction of the Mac vs. PC. There’s no doubt here that Apple’s looking to capitalize on things like the Vista delay and reinforcing the overall negative perception of the PC.”

Yes, M$ has had it’s share of problems but Apple should be given an award for it’s ability to completely brainwash users and sell complete incompatible crap…..until now with the great announcement of bootcamp – so then why are they blasting the very thing that they will now support?!
