Nokia updates 770 Internet tablet with Google Talk
As reported earlier, Nokia has finally launched an updated version of their Nokia 770 Internet tablet device.
This updated version comes with support for the Google Talk instant messenger and VoIP client. This would now allow people to chat with other users of instant-messaging software via the Nokia Wi-Fi device.
Nokia has also added a full-screen finger keyboard to this updated version of the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet PC. They added that the device has been selling in good numbers in the market and they are pretty satisfied with the sales.
Ari Virtanen, of Nokia’s Multimedia division added: “The first months have been very encouraging.â€

He spoke about the possible competition with PDAs and advanced mobile phones: “I cannot see any direct competition between these two business domains. Of course, they always overlap, but we do not see any direct competition.â€
