Nokia unveils Nokia E50 mobile phone
World’s largest maker of mobile phones Nokia has launched yet another product today. The latest model is the Nokia E50 and it is targeted at the mass-market segment as Nokia aims to gather more market share around the world.
Nokia E50 is the company’s 18th new phone model this year and should be available in the retail market by next month. Nokia expects this phone to generate decent sales by the third quarter of the year as its availability expands to other countries in the world.
The company aims to price this phone in the 300 to 350 euros bracket. Pekka Isosomppi, a representative for Nokia’s enterprise unit said about this new product: “We are aiming for the big market where people need basic phones.â€

Nokia is aiming to make their struggling enterprise unit profitable by next year and they are working hard on launching more products in this segment. One of the formidable challengers in this segment for Nokia is the popular RIM’s Blackberry device.
