Qualcomm Sues Nokia in Britain
The legal hassles between mobile phone technology developers continue as Qualcomm Inc. has now sued the world’s largest maker of mobile phones Nokia.
Qualcomm, which designs technology used in wireless products, has said that Nokia is infringing on its patents leading to this lawsuit.
The lawsuit filed in Britain charges that Nokia violated two of Qualcomm’s patents in its mobile devices.
Qualcomm is now seeking an injunction and damages related to Nokia phones already sold. Nokia is yet to comment on this latest lawsuit filed by Qualcomm.
The two companies are already entangled in legal battles in the US market over similar patent issues.
