Motorola to launch new slim mobile phones

Motorola might be the second largest players in the world’s mobile phone market but they do dominate the American market with their hugely successful Moto Razr range of mobile phones.

These phones have been so successful that it saw a couple of imitations from South Korean rivals like Samsung. In fact, Samsung went on to create the world’s slimmest phone and is due to launch it in North America soon.

Motorola has launched a couple of siblings of Moto Razr phones in the form of Pebl, Slvr and Rokr and now we can expect some new models in the slim phone category.

Ron Garriques, who heads Motorola’s biggest division has confirmed that newer models are being developed and they would be launched next year.

This new range would be called Moto SCPL as in Scalpel. However, not many details were revealed. Ron did mention that these new phones would be slim models and would have five distinct features, which would make them different from rival products.
