2007 model Range Rover to sport a 3.6-liter V8 engine
Ford has announced that their upcoming 2007 model Range Rover would feature a newly developed 3.6-liter V8 engine with 202kW and an extreme 640Nm of torque.
The current generation diesel version of this fantastic car has been somewhat of a disappointing to the end user because of the lack of power provided by their engines. However, Ford plans to change it all with the new 2007 model RR.
The company claims that this new engine would mean that the car would be faster but would be providing similar fuel efficiency. Ford has designed the engine to be used in an off-roader. The updated model would also feature the Supercharged Range Rover Sport’s electronic rear differential and Brembo brake set up.
The outlook of the car would remain pretty same to the current model though a new electronic hand brake would be added. Richard Beattie, Land Rover North America’s Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing added on this car’s new model: “To maintain the Range Rover’s outstanding reputation, we continuously look at how we can update and upgrade the vehicle. We have further refined Range Rover substantial equipment levels to meet the requirements of both new and existing Range Rover customers.”
