Online ad spending on the rise in USA

More people in the USA are spending on advertising on the internet. As per incoming reports, the internet ad spending in the US surged 38 percent to a record $3.9 billion in the first quarter.

This survey was conducted by the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers who researched the data provided by leading companies that sell advertising space online. This included the two giants in the market Google and Yahoo!

David Silverman, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers spoke about the survey findings: “The momentum has continued to build in the Internet advertising space. More and more advertisers are seeing the effectiveness of the medium.”

Online advertisement is one of the primary earning source for the search engine market leader Google and both Yahoo! and Microsoft MSN unit is working hard on getting a larger share of the pie.
