Hero Honda to setup a manufacturing plant in Jaipur

Hero Honda Motors came out with their results yesterday and reported a 29-per-cent jump in its net profit for the fourth quarter.

The company added that they are setting up a new plant in Jaipur at an initial investment of Rs 320 crore.

Hero Honda Managing Director, Mr. Pawan Munjal said in a statement on these expansion plans: “The plant will be set up within the next one year and will have an initial capacity of 5 lakh units, which is expandable to one million units.”

He added: “We are looking at various options for one more plant after the third plant.” Now, these are some awesome growth plans.

The company is also working out plans to expand production at their existing manufacturing units. With plans to launch eight new bike models in the current year, they can use all these production facilities!
