Apple Computer expanding presence at Best Buy stores
Apple might be making big news with their newly launched retail stores. However, they are also expanding their reach in other big retail stores. The latest incoming news is that the company has expanded its retail presence at Best Buy to include the new MacBook units, as well as the MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and iMac systems.
Apple products are being displayed prominently in several Best Buy stores throughout the United States
This retailing store has been selling the popular Apple iPod range of music players and the cheapest Mac, the Apple Mac Mini in the market since quite sometime now. This latest move shows some of the more high profile and higher end products from Apple being sold at the Best Buy stores.
Apple as a result is being seen as pushing their products through retail stores in the recent times. Neither Apple nor Best Buy has commented on this growing presence of Apple products in the Best Buy stores.
The iPod maker is rumored to be developing a Mac computer for the school and college students and this should help them get ready for the back-to-school shopping season, which is generally considered to be the second-busiest period of the year for the PC industry. The improved deal with Best Buy would give them a wider presence around the nation.
