CinemaNow to sell Warner Bros. films, TV shows online
Online movie service CinemaNow has confirmed that they are collaborating with Warner Bros. to sell their films and TV shows on the internet.
This adds on some big movies in their catalogue including the massively popular Harry Potter series.
This deal also becomes a major step for Warner to move beyond the traditional media to deliver content to the customers around the world. Warner gets their entry into the internet market to sell their movies and television shows.
This deal with Warner comes just a day after CinemaNow announced a similar deal with Walt Disney.
Movie studios in the United States are increasingly becoming interested in selling their stuff on the internet. However, they still do not allow the customers to copy the downloaded media on a DVD for play on regular players. This should be the next step for them to expand their offerings.
