MSN Hotmail starts enhancing email space

Early morning some users on a popular technology forum reported that they checked their hotmail and were surprised to see the newly enhanced webmail space with 250 Megs. Paid members are getting 2 Gig. Well, I am still stuck on 2 Meg at this moment, but it is about time that my hotmail reaches 250 Megs too.

So, will I ever need so much mail space? Well, I have reached only 6% of GMail’s capacity and this is when I can easily delete unimportant mails worth 30-40 megs easily. The combined space of Yahoo! Mail, GMail and Hotmail can keep anyone happy in the near future. If only personal web servers can be as reliable. I just lost 2 years of Blog material and all my emails stored and received in the last 40 hrs due to some technical glitch in the datacenters of my web host.

There are definitely advantages of webmail services over personalized mails at times. And I came to know about that nicely today…
