Yahoo! revamping their photo site to improve user experience

Search engine giants Yahoo! acquired photo-hosting service Flickr a couple of months ago and they are now using that experience to improve their own photo service.

The internet company is improving Yahoo! Photo service to make it easier for the users to upload and share photos.

Yahoo! just recently showcased their new website outlook, which is perhaps the most extensive design update since the inception of the company.

They are facing increasing competition from challengers like MySpace and Google, which is increasingly becoming a favorite destination for web users.

Yahoo! also need to boost their earnings to impress the investors as their stock prices have taken a beating in the recent times. The company is also integrating certain aspects from Oddpost, another startup acquired last year to make it easier for users to drag and drop photos into digital trays. Tagging is also now enabled on the photos to sort the images more conveniently.
