Boeing testing online services on Vietnam air flights
US based airline manufacturer Boeing has received official permission to test their internet services on flights in the country.
Connexion by Boeing would now be powering as many as Six airlines which includes some big names including Koreas Asiana Airlines, Korea Air, China Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines and United Arab Emirates Etihad Airway.
These trials will run till the end of May next year and would give Boeing enough experience to tweak out any issues related to this technology.
A telecom official from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications said in a statement: “Under a decision which came into effect Tuesday last week, travelers on these airlines’ flights to Vietnam can access to the Internet and some other online services with a laptop.â€
