CBS to sell popular TV shows on Apple iTunes
CBS has announced that they are expanding their deal with Apple Computers to sell episodes of popular television shows on Apple iTunes digital store.
The television studio is making available popular shows including three CSI crime procedurals, Numb3rs and Survivor.
They are also planning to make episodes of NCIS featuring Mark Harmon on the Apple store. Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of iTunes spoke on this development: “These are some of the top rated shows on television.â€
The company is already making available NCAA basketball coverage available for download through the iTunes Music Store. The shows would sell for $1.99 per show. Complete seasons of “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation†and season 2 of “CSI: NY†are available as complete seasons of 24 episodes for $44.99. “Survivor’s†12 season is available for $25.87. The second season of “Numb3rs†is available complete for $39.99.
