Kinetic Motor launches 165cc scooter Kinetic Blaze

Kinetic Motor Company has unveiled the 165cc scooter Kinetic Blaze which should be available in the showrooms by summer this year. This new product will be followed by five more two wheelers, which the company plans to launch during this year.

Kinetic Managing Director Sulajja Firodia Motwani confirmed that the company has plans to launch another three scooters covering the whole spectrum of the market. In addition, they would be launching two new motorcycles in the 100cc commuter segment.

Motwani said: ‘‘We will launch a 135cc scooter in August followed by a two scooters in December. In between we will also launch two 100cc motorcycles this year.”

She added: ‘‘With our latest offering we are targeting the urban college going youth who wants to breakaway from the league of motorcycles without compromising on power delivery. This is country’s first moto-scooter and will establish a new segment altogether.”

Blaze is interestingly the first launch of the seven vehicle Italiano series which kinetic acquired from famed Italian two-wheeler major Italjet Moto. It is powered by a 4-valve engine with an output of nearly 12 BHP. It would be available at a price of Rs 49,990 ex showroom Pune.

Kinetic would also be exporting this product to markets in US, Australia and Canada.
