eBay now has more than 200 million members
Ecommerce giant eBay has claimed that they have signed on their 200 millionth customer. This number is enough to challenge the fifth largest country in terms of population.
EBay Inc.’s Chief Executive Meg Whitman confirmed that the company achieved this phenomenal record on Saturday last week. As of March 31, the company had around 192.9 million registered users worldwide, and 75.4 million “active” users.
Some of the most active markets for the company include United States, Germany, Britain and South Korea. And this number does not include members of their supporting network sites like Rent.com, Shopping.com and others.
EBay also has millions of users registered to Skype service, which they recently acquired for big bucks.
