Energi To Go: Energizer introduces a range of portable recharging devices

Energizer has introduced a range of portable devices that will allow travelers to charge gadgets like cellphones, mp3 players and gaming devices without requiring them to plug to switches.

These devices are being called ‘Energi To Go’ and they would be available in retail stores starting from September. It would include a two-battery cell phone charger and a four-battery power pack for audio and gaming devices.

The company developed these devices after a market research showed that 20 percent of cell phone users lose power at least once a week. Mobile phones today do a lot more than just making calls. They take photos, act as music players and this has reduced their battery life.

Energizer claimed that their product supplies immediate power to the cell phone. Products can be used again within 30 seconds of connecting them to the Energi To Go devices.
