Hewlett Packard revamps their Blade Server Line
Hewlett-Packard has upgraded their range of Blade Servers and they have addressed several issues in this upgrade, which have become important for network managers. HP claims that they have kept in mind issues like energy costs, setup complexity while developing these new products.
The company is aiming to challenge the domination of competitors in this market like Dell and IBM with these new products.
HP said that the new c-Class blades feature HP’s Virtual Connect architecture, which simplifies deployment by letting enterprises wire their computing resources once. These can be later changed on the fly through virtualized connections.
IT Managers can monitor the performance of the blades through an LCD display on the front of the chassis of these systems. It also displays a graphical interface alerting the administrators on their status and any internal problems.
