Google Calendar updates
Google Calendar has been one of the best releases from the search engine giants in the recent times. This web-based utility has enough features to replace a desktop-based PIM application for most people and it is accessible from any computer connected to the internet.
Google has now added some new features to their calendar application. Users can now add the Google Calendar module to their Google Personalized homepage. They can even publish the calendar on their blogs and web pages to show their schedule to the visitors. This feature can be very useful for public events like the Fifa World Cup.
Good news for Apple Mac users. Google has added support for the Safari web browser in this latest round of updates.
In other upgrades, Google has added mobile support to Google Calendar, which now enable the users to access their calendars on the move. Support for this web service has been added to the company’s other popular product Google Desktop.
Of course, using RSS feeds and iCal links, users can already access their calendar information using applications like Mozilla Sunbird.
