Channel 4 to show television shows on internet
Channel 4 has announced their plans to broadcast television shows on the TV and broadband internet simultaneously.
This means that same shows would be coming on television and the internet at the same time making it an exciting opportunity for the channel to see how internet audience stands up to its regular television audience.
This new service starts from June 27 but would not include imported programs. Channel 4 chief executive Andy Duncan said that the company believes that the digital revolution gives them an exciting opportunity to grow further and gain more customers.
He said: “The difference is we’re doing it in many more ways than just via broadcast these days, because we have to engage with the public wherever they are.â€
