K610im: Sony Ericsson launches its first i-mode 3G phone
Japanese tech giants Sony Ericsson have launched their first i-mode 3G mobile phone in the form of K610im. i-mode is essentially an O2’s mobile internet service that gives access to a huge range of websites specifically designed for viewing on a mobile phone.
The technology makes it faster and easier for the consumers to access mobile enabled web pages on the internet.
The phone also supports the i-mail service, which supports not only regular mails but also picture mails. Sony Ericsson K610im also comes loaded with a 2-megapixel camera, a 64MB Memory Stick and support for digital music playing capabilities.
The phone comes with a 1.9-inch TFT 260 k screens, 2.5x digital zoom, speakerphone, and Bluetooth compatibility.
