Apple launches eMac Repair Extension Program
iPod maker Apple Computers has released the details on its eMac Repair Extension Program. This program is open for owners of select eMac owners who have video or power-related issues as the result of a specific component failure.
Apple added in their post that the affected computers were manufactured between April 2004 and June 2005 and the problems are mostly related to scrambled or distorted video, no video or no power.
The company has also posted the serial number ranges of the affected machines to make it easier for the owners of eMac machines to check if they are covered by this new program.
This is applicable to those eMacs too whose warranty has now expired. In addition, the company said that the program is available throughout the world.
