Google Gbuy to come out sometime this week?

Market rumors claim that search engine giants Google are due to launch their new service for online payments this week. This service is expected to be called Gbuy or maybe Google Payments.

Analysts believe that this could provide an alternative to eBay’s PayPal service to web users to pay on the net for services and products. Google has however claimed that they are not aiming to challenge PayPal.

Google already runs a shopping search engine named Froogle, which enables the users to find products from various stores online at a single location and compare the prices. Google’s service might be implemented here for online purchases.

Google also has many other services, which requires the user to make a payment. This includes services like Google Book Search, Google Picasa Web Albums and others. Of course, Google has Adwords and AdSense services, which can also be made to use with Google’s Gbuy service. We at TechWhack believe that the service could also be used to lure Google AdSense users to start buying Adwords.
