Verizon Wireless to reduce early termination fees
Verizon Wireless has said that they want to make it cheaper for the consumer to cancel their contract with the company in case they want to move on.
This would reduce the fees consumers pay to end their service early. Most mobile service providers charge huge fees in case the consumer wants to terminate their contract early on.
Verizon Wireless as a result wants to become the first player in the US market to do something about this top consumer complaint.
The company believes that it won’t affect their revenues much and would result in a happy consumer. Cingular Wireless responded on this announcement from their rivals: “We’re always looking for ways to best serve consumers but we’re not going to speculate on any future plans.â€
