EU committee claims Microsoft continues to defy the courts ruling
A EU committee has ruled that the US based software giants Microsoft has failed to comply with a landmark antitrust decision.
This has further made it easier for the commission to go ahead with their plan to put a fine on the company.
The fines can be as huge as 2 million euros a day as per the information received from sources.
EU is expected to meet later this month to decide on the size of the fine. This would be a major setback for the software company, which continues to claim that they have taken enough steps to please the commission.
The company said in a statement on Monday: “Microsoft is dedicating massive resources to ensure we meet the aggressive schedule and high quality standard set by the Commission in this process.â€
