Space Shuttle Discovery to dock with ISS on July 6
A NASA representative at Russian Mission Control has said in a statement that the Space Shuttle Discovery is scheduled to dock with the International Space Station July 6.
He added that shuttle commander Steven Lindsey would control the manned docking at 6.52 p.m. Moscow time.
The news source also said that the astronauts onboard would make two spacewalks July 8 and July 10 and a third spacewalk can take place on July 12.
If NASA goes ahead with that spacewalk, it would return back to earth on July 17 instead of July 16.
The US space agency successfully launched the Discovery Space Shuttle on July 4, which was the first such launch on the American Independence Day.
