ISRO to launch GSLV with INSAT-4C on July 10
The Indian Space Research Organization has said in a statement that they would be launching the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle with the state-of- the-art communications satellite INSAT-4C at 4.30 pm on July 10.
ISRO said in a statement today: “As per the present progress, the launch is expected to take place at around 4.30 pm on July 10 from the second launch pad which was commissioned in May 2005 with the launch of the PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle).â€
It further said: “Preparations for the launch are proceeding satisfactorily at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.â€
They have already checked the launch rocket’s systems and the satellite has been integrated with the GSLV. They would commence the final countdown and fuel filling for the liquid propellant stages on July 9.
