Lamborghini launches ‘Gallardo’ and ‘Murcielago’ in India

India now has some of the best-looking supercars in the world available locally. Italian sports car maker Lamborghini has announced the launch of super luxury vehicles ‘Gallardo’ and ‘Murcielago’ in the Indian market.

Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann added that they already have sold six of their cars in the Indian market and are aiming to sell 10 vehicles before the end of the year.

The target might be pretty darn small but considering the costs of the car and the quality of the roads available in the country, the number is pretty impressive.

Winkelmann said: “We come to India not by chance but with a plan. The Indian economy is growing and so is the list billionaires and millionaires, which makes it an attractive and important market for us.”

The country also has other super expensive luxury cars like Maybach, Bentley Arnage and Rolls Royce Phantom available in the market but Lamborghini holds a special place in the minds of customers.
