Samsung NV3: Digital Camera and Music player combo

We already have a lot of mobile phones, which are capable of acting as a digital music player. However, Samsung has now launched a product, which combines the functionality of a digital camera with a digital music player.

Samsung NV3 is a 7.2 megapixels, 3x optical zoom digital camera and comes with a 2.5-inch high-resolution LCD display.

In addition, it can also store and play back MP3 and WAV music files in addition to video clips. It comes loaded with 16 Megs of inbuilt memory, which can be expanded using external media. NV3 also comes equipped with a stereo headphone jack and integrated stereo speakers.

Incidentally, this is not the first product of its kind. Digital camera rival Olympus had launched a similar product named m:robe last year but they failed to market it properly and it was dumped after a couple of months.

Samsung plans to make their product a successful one and plans to make it available in fourth-quarter 2006 for $350.
