Google gives more freedom to Adsense users

More power to the advertiser
Google is getting bolder and bolder by the day. First it stopped using adsense on Blogger Blogs, which was truly a very bold step. And now they are allowing adsense users to place as many as 3 adsense ad blocks on a single page. And they will make sure all the blocks have separate ads! All of these three blocks can have individual colors, sizes and even alternate ad pages…
Add to that, user can now show as many as 3 sites in the adsense site search block giving more power to the users to give customer search multiple sites from a single place. Another exciting feature is Collapsing ad units which means, if the system does not find any advertisements for a particular page, the block will simply collapse and does not waste page space for the end user.
What I fear… Sites already have an over dosage of ads especially Google adsense ads. And now with three possible placements for adsense… we will see more of them everywhere… better than flashy advertisements of course… But still too much of everything and anything is not fun. Ofcourse, Yours truly himself is guilty of overloading these Blogs with too many ads… But that’s how I manage to run my personal blog without one! ;)
