Maruti launches the new look Wagon R
India’s top automobile manufacturer Maruti Udyog has announced the launch of an updated version of the Wagon R model.
The updated model comes in a brand new look and the company has now also launched a LPG model of this car.
However, the good news is that there is no price hike on this revamped model of the car though prices can be hiked in the coming months.
Maruti Managing Director Jagdish Khattar spoke during the launch ceremony of this car: “This is the introductory offer, we will review prices later.â€
Ever since the company stopped the manufacturing of their popular Zen model, customers had to choose between Wagon R and Swift. Now, they have a fresh new car to pick which should further boost the sales for the company.
The company said that the prices of the three petrol variants of the Wagon R range between Rs 3.23 lakh to Rs 3.72 lakh. The LPG models are priced between Rs 3.4 lakh and Rs 3.6 lakh.
