Friends coming soon on Apple iTunes
We now have more awesome news coming from the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. The company has now joined the long list of major Hollywood studio to offer television shows on the popular Apple iTunes digital content store.
The studio is planning to offer the hit sitcom “Friends†and other shows on Apple iTunes.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group would be offering a total of 113 episodes of “Friendsâ€, “Babylon 5â€, “The Jetsons” and “The Flintstonesâ€. In addition, they would also be selling skits from “MADtv” and an unaired pilot called “Aquaman” by the writers of “Smallville”.
These shows would be sold for $1.99 per episode and would work on the Apple iPod Video players.
The company added that this new plan to offer shows on sale on Apple iPod is to make the content available on a variety of platforms. And with these new shows, Apple is now offering a total of more than 150 TV shows available for purchase on iTunes. These include content provided by Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and MTV networks.
